THE SPACE This is our personal family home, and when guests are not here we live here ourselves! So, you will find that this is not a typical Corporate Rental where we are trying to maximize profits or cut corners on cleanliness or maintenance. Our home is filled with luxury furniture, sheets, linens, soaps, appliances & our treasures collected from traveling the world. Our beloved cleaner spends an entire day cleaning the property, not just a morning between guests - and for long stays we include a cleaning service free of charge. Whether you are are a digital nomad looking to experience life as an Austinite (with uber fast fiber wifi and an extremely calm and bright working environment) for a month or two, or a family moving to Austin looking for your own permanent home, this could be your temporary oasis. We love nature and clean air so you will find air purifiers throughout our home. This is our sanctuary and a shoe-free space, so slippers will be provided for guests (yours to keep). No shoes in the house is very important to us as we are very enthusiastically clean & have many nice vintage rugs collected from all over the world. We have plenty of fresh towels & soaps for your stay! I am happy to try to accommodate other requests if you have them (firewood, groceries in the fridge, etc.) Please request any of these in advance. We would love this to become your home, and in that sense, we are differentiated from the depersonalized experience of a hotel chain. We also differentiate from other BnB's in that we did not buy this property & cheaply "flip" it with generic furnishings just to make some cash. We want to offer a memorable experience to everyone who stays here and have guests leave saying "wow, that was the best experience of anywhere we ever stayed." SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS -The primary suite has a king bed with attached bathroom (guests LOVE our giant walk-in shower). -Second bedroom (The room with the green rug) has a queen bed. Shares a bathroom with the kid's room. -Kid's room - 2 twin beds (adults fit too). -Living room - if your party is more than 6 people, we can accommodate an extra 2 on a king air mattress in the living room. Just please let us know if you will need it in advance! BABY / KID STUFF -We have any and all types of baby supplies - swing, rocker, bouncer, high-chair, books, toys & pack and play! Just let me know in advance if you would like any of these things, and I will leave them out. PARKING -There is room to park 2 cars in our driveway. Also plenty of free street parking. There is no covered parking space or garage (our garage doesn't open and is not accessible, it is used for storage). -No RV / converted van parking allowed sadly (HOA rules) OTHER -Great central AC for hot months and Great central heating for cold months as well. -We have air purifiers & fans in bedrooms -Google Fiber WiFi throughout the property GUEST ACCESS We have tons of free street parking & a driveway. Check in is the easiest thing imaginable. A digital code on our front door will unlock it - we will give you the code the night before your stay. Other things to note We want your stay to be a special experience! Please let us know if there is anything we can do to make it so. *EXTRA SERVICES* I want to make your stay relaxing and recharging. Here are some extras I can offer: 1. If you are here for a longer stay, I can coordinate with our housekeeper to do a cleaning service mid-stay. She will come and clean & change the sheets / and wash and fold laundry. This is included if you are staying a month or more. 2. Since we are strictly no-shoes in the house, I can provide slippers for guests (for free) to make you more comfortable! 3. If you will use the outdoor firepit, I can buy and set up the firewood for you in advance for cost (just let me know!)
