You will find yourself tucked away from the encumbrance of big city bustle, embraced by and surrounded by mountains. Come enjoy your stay with us to better appreciate Colorado’s unfurling skies and rolling foothills. Palmer Lake is a wonderful, close-knit community with numerous activities planned around lake life. The quaint "downtown" of Palmer Lake offers restaurants, boutiques, art shops, and more! O'Malley's, Journey's End, Sasquatch & Yeti, Speed Trap, and Social 105 are a few of the restaurants in our town that have made a name for themselves. The Overlook at Palmer Lake is only 5 minutes from the I-25 north/south corridor. We are 12 minutes from the Air Force Academy, 30 minutes from downtown Colorado Springs, 15 minutes from Castle Rock, and 30 minutes from South Denver. It is approximately 40 minutes to the the Colorado Springs Airport and 45 minutes to the Denver International Airport. Where you will sleep: Bedroom #1: Upstairs Master Bedroom with an en suite bathroom with a dual sink vanity, a jetted soaking tub and a two shower head shower. There is a radiant heat floor in the shower/toilet area. This room has a large walk-in closet. This room also has a double-sided fireplace with gas logs. Access to the upstairs deck is available from the sliding glass door in this room. Bedroom #2: The upstairs bunk room with two twin bunks and a full bunk. This room also has a built-in desk and shelves for a convenient work station. Bedroom #3: Downstairs Master Bedroom with a window seat and large walk-in closet. Bedroom #4: Queen bed with a large walk-in closet (large enough that we have a single futon set up in the closet!) Bedroom #5: Queen bed with a louvered-door closet. Additional guests may sleep on the queen sleep sofa in the upstairs living room as well as the La-Z-Boy queen sleeper in the downstairs living room. We have a Pack 'n Play with a two-sided mattress and bedding available for infants/toddlers. We have patio furniture on the upstairs deck (seats 4) while grilling on the Blackstone Grill. We have a large patio sectional couch and stools on the downstairs patio (seats 10) along with a fire pit to enjoy the cool evenings overlooking the lake.
