There is a full grocery store, a Mountain Peoples Coop of organic products, the awesome Blue Moon Bakery, it's own local bagel shop, a renowned Indian/Nepalese restaurant and a variety of other eateries, drinking spots and unique shops. There are forest hikes accessed from the house. You can see the ski slopes of Eldora Mountain Resort from the deck, which is a 10 minute drive. It is a 35 minute drive to Rocky Mountain National Park, 15 minutes to the casinos of Black Hawk and Central City and an 55 minutes to Denver, all along the beautiful Peak to Peak Scenic Byway.
